Description
4DryField® PH is an innovative medical device consisting of sterile, hydrophilic microporous
particles manufactured from highly purified plant starch using the special SAFE™ technology.
It contains no components of human or animal origin, making it biocompatible, pyrogen-free, and
hypoallergenic. Due to its physical properties, 4DryField® PH can bind many times its own mass of
fluid within seconds, and is fully resorbed within 7 days. It is supplied as a ready-to-use powder in
blue bellows bottles of 1 g, 3 g and 5g.
Indications
4DryField® PH is indicated for adhesion prevention and hemostasis across a wide range of surgical
procedures, both open and laparoscopic. It is designed for use in abdominal and pelvic surgeries,
gynecology, visceral surgery, pediatric cardiac surgery, urology, orthopedics, burn surgery, as well
as dental and ENT procedures. For adhesion prevention, it is applied to wound surfaces and
soaked with sterile solution to form a protective gel. For hemostasis, it is applied directly to
bleeding sites where conventional methods are ineffective or impracticable.
